Atlanta Braves Micah Johnson to be Featured at Woodruff Arts Center

American professional baseball second baseman for the Atlanta Braves and Artist Micah Johnson will host an exclusive viewing of his original artwork titled “What Lines?”. The exhibit is centered on igniting a fire in people to break down stereotypes and barriers to not be confined to your upbringing, occupation, social class, race or sex. It will also highlight the lines of restrictions and dare people to ask, “What Lines?

Micah Johnson was drafted by the Chicago White Sox in the ninth round of the 2012 MLB Draft. He made his Major League Baseball Debut with the Sox on April 6, 2015. He began his pro career at second base, but during a stint at Triple-A Oklahoma in 2016, proved his worth as a utility outfielder. He was traded the Braves prior to the 2017 season, and after rehabbing a fractured wrist and impressing in Triple-A ball, was called up on Aug. 18.
