Micah Johnson was drafted by the Chicago White Sox in the ninth round of the 2012 MLB Draft. He made his Major League Baseball Debut with the Sox on April 6, 2015. He began his pro career at second base, but during a stint at Triple-A Oklahoma in 2016, proved his worth as a utility outfielder. He was traded the Braves prior to the 2017 season, and after rehabbing a fractured wrist and impressing in Triple-A ball, was called up on Aug. 18.
