City of Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms and Rap superstar and entrepreneur Jeezy joined together to run the AJC Peachtree Road Race on July 4, 2018 to raise money to support three nonprofit organizations which share the common goal of promoting healthy lifestyles and empowering children to make smart choices. The Atlanta Track Club’s Kilometer Kids, Jeezy’s Street Dreamz Foundation, and the City of Atlanta, Mayor’s Youth Scholarship Program were the benefitting organizations.
10 Squared developed the brand campaign “JEEZY Runs Peachtree” to highlight highlight Jeezy’s healthy lifestyle and philanthropic efforts with his Street Dreamz Foundation.
To jump start the awareness campaign for “Jeezy Runs Peachtree”, 10 Squared coordinated a local media campaign that sought to: increase awareness for Jeezy’s participation in the race, as well as using his influence to raise money for 3 charities. 10 Squared secured various media placements for Jeezy as well as media coverage for the Defiance Fuel Rehydration Center after the race.
